FUNDING RESOURCES

Program Funding

The Coastal Science & Policy Program at UC Santa Cruz aims to supports as many of the next generation of coastal leaders as it can. Exceptional investment in CSP students includes a limited number of programmatic fellowships based on (1) financial need and program resources, these fellowships are for incoming Masters of Science students (packages may cover a portion of or a combination of tuition, fees, and/or living stipend) and (2) theme-based fellowships that vary annually based on donor funding and may include one to two years of support for tuition, fees, and/or living expenses.

Additional Funding Opportunities

As part of your application, we strongly recommend that you apply for outside fellowships or funding. The list below is a starting point, but is not exhaustive. There are funding opportunities for tuition, living expenses, travel, field research, international students, and more. Note, application deadlines vary throughout the year and several opportunities require applying 12-18 months ahead of the graduate program start date. *Indicates that CSP students have  won awards from these organizations.
