CSP student Ali Boutros, class of 2024, commented on kelp in a warming climate during a recent newscast about warmer ocean temperatures negatively impacting kelp forests, which play a critical role in our ecosystem and fisheries. CSP core faculty member, Mark Carr, an expert in local ecosystems, also provided insight on threats kelp face throughout Monterey Bay.
