A warm welcome to Dr. Elena Finkbeiner, who is a new CSP Associate Professor of Practice. Dr. Finkbeiner is the Fisheries Science Program Manager at Conservation International’s Center for Oceans. In her previous role as Adjunct Faculty, she has already been an advisor on 11 CSP student capstone projects across a range of topics, including:
- Small-scale fisheries governance
- Adaptive capacity
- Resilience
- Social-ecological systems
- Role of diversification in fisheries
- Human rights and social justice considerations in natural resource management and conservation
