FUNDING RESOURCES

Program Funding

The Coastal Science & Policy Program at UC Santa Cruz supports the next generation of coastal leaders. Exceptional investment in CSP students includes need-based financial support for one to two years. For more details about the program and its offerings, visit our program information page.

Additional Funding Opportunities

As part of your application, we strongly recommend that you apply for outside fellowships or funding. The list below is a starting point, but is not exhaustive. There are funding opportunities for tuition, living expenses, travel, field research, international students, and more. Note, application deadlines happen throughout the year and several opportunities require applying 12-18 months ahead of the graduate program start date. *Indicates that CSP students have  won awards from these organizations.
